Tolu’s approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, grounded in faith, and built on trust.
She creates space for deep processing, quiet hope, and gentle restoration.

A trauma-informed therapist who believes healing is about coming home to who God says you are.
I support women navigating betrayal trauma, anxiety, and relational heartbreak using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and EMDR.
Whether you’re rebuilding trust after porn use, healing from emotional distance, or longing to feel seen and secure again, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Together, we’ll create space for the hard stuff, celebrate the small wins, and gently reconnect you with peace, clarity, and hope.
Why I became a therapist:
I became a therapist because of my passion for helping people heal and holding space for client's
sacred stories in their healing journey. I have witnessed firsthand how powerful a safe,
supportive space can be and I want to be able to offer it to others.
My favorite part of EFT:
Seeing clients taking steps towards breaking generations of painful patterns and moving from
being in heightened emotional charged situations to a state of resilience through the
transformation of core emotions.
Why I chose EMDR:
I love EMDR because of its transformative impact on clients and how they learn to practice self-
compassion and align actions with personal values. Processing unresolved emotions and
memories can lead to a path to self -discovery, which can be very empowering.
Scripture that grounds my work:
Philippians 4:7 - “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard
your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Outside the therapy room:
I am an interior design enthusiast and a Christian classical music lover, I enjoy listening
to Handel's Messiah.
A personal passion project:
I am hoping to create safe and affordable housing options for women leaving abusive
relationships.
What clients often say about working with me:
They tell me I am warm, supportive, compassionate and highly competent.
Fun fact:
I love to cook and enjoy experimenting with different recipes from various cultures
around the world. Exploring international cuisine has helped to significantly enhance
therapeutic alliance when working with diverse population groups by acting as a bridge
for cultural humility, rapport building and deeper emotional exploration.
